It's a Beautiful Morning...Happy New Year...

I hope you had a great New Year's Celebration...

It is a beutiful morning here with the sun shining brightly here in more ways than one...

So it's a New Year...

Let's do something new that will make a difference in your life in 2011...

Decide what portofolio return you would like to achieve in 2011...

Do it Right Now...

Send an email to chartsignals@yahoo.com and state three things in your email...
1.  what portfolio rate of return you would like to achieve in 2011,
2.  what rate of return you achieved in 2010, and
3.  what you think you need to differently to do differently to achieve your 2011 portofolio return objective...

Then Chart Signals will focus its efforts on doing things in a new way to help you achieve your desire...

Most everyone has heard Einstein's great definition of Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

It's time to Stop the Insanity and start doing new things in new ways to achieve the better results that you desire...

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first simple step...

That first simple step...Decide right now what return you want to achieve in 2011 and then send your email including the three points listed above to chartsignals@yahoo.com ...do it now so you can start moving towards what you really want...

The second simple step listen to this just for fun... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrwhfhncPfM&feature=related

The third simple step come back each day beginning Monday January 3, 2011 ready to move towards your desire with focus, effort and concentration...

I just have this feeling that 2011 really is going to be very Happy New Year!

Let Chart Signals help you get that feeling too...

Dave,
Thank you for teaching all of us your mastery of the markets. Oh and let's not forget all of the personal lessons as well. One thing that I have learned from you Dave is discipline. I am referring to the discipline that you show us every single day by returning to this sight to teach us about the markets.

Favorite personal lesson was regards to coach Wooden's pyramid of success.....

Thank you

Dave,
Thank you for everything. I just began listening to you in 2010 and you have made a huge difference in my trading and motivation. Thanks for being a great mentor! I have already accomplished most of my New Years resolutions - I have 3 trading plans completely done. Thanks for the encouragement and keep up the awesome work!

Can't let the year go by without personally thanking you for all you do. The great discipline you have to write this blog considering all full schedule you keep is really something rarely seen in any field these days. I just hope we can see more and more comments every day this year from those of us on the "receiving end" of it. You truly care about the results of each one of us, otherwise you wouldn't be taking the time to ask us for our result and goals personally. My favorite insight from you this year was when you said the two main reasons most traders aren't successful is either that they aren't following their rules, or that the market environment has shifted trends, making that particular rule/strategy not as optimal for that environment. That's what I will be working on this year, particularly the second half of that...Oh and thanks for the "beautiful morning" song. I remember that one...
