While I look forward to reading your posting first thing every morning, I certainly understand today's positing at this time due to your overloaded schedule yesterday. To think you would give that amount of time to your students on your birthday rather than being home and celebrating with your family. God certainly gave a great gift to us when you were born. Once again, Happy Birthday my good friend, mentor and teacher. Marshall Wilson

I echo Doc's post. I hope you can get some celebratory time with your family this weekend. I appreciated your comments about the analysts as it does make sense, yet the general public might find it hard to understand. So thanks for giving us the heads up on those analysts.

The gift of your time and talent along with the committment you have to teach an understanding of the market is nothing short of fantastic and amazing. It is truly an humbling experience to be a recepient of all that you give on a daily basis. I can only hope that you are taking care of Dave in the process. Thank You, for all you do for all of us and have a restful weekend. - Jim Godfrey

Dave,
You're the best. My trading partner and I listened to your substituting advanced options the other day and you opened up a whole new world to me. I had spent the first two years really zeroing in on advanced options, spreads etc.But in the last two, as I get So much better on technicals I have done spreads less and less becuase don't need to do them as much. But now my goal is to have the best of both depending on the stock chart. Recently I have been doing spreads on the earnings plays that you bring up. All the stock has to do it STAY ABOVE THE MORNING GAP and THE SPREAD WORKS. Your one act of subbing for that advanced options this week now oppended my eyes to "of course I can put on the other side of those spreads too and adjust the sides to my directional bias". HAPPY BIRTHDAY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY.....
NOW GET OF HERE AND GO CELEBRATE. DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU AROUND HERE FOR A FEW DAYS!!
