DJIA Makes New High, Afternoon Pullback Tests Breakout Area...

DIA, AAPL, BA, CSCO, MSFT and UNH hit new highs on Wednesday.

The DJIA, closed up 54 points at 26,828, an all-time new high close, led by strength in BA, CAT, AAPL, GS and JPM.  This is the fifty-eighth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15 and the fifteenth close above 26,000 since Feb 1.

Five of eleven sectors were higher, led by financial XLF +0.94% and energy XLE +0.81%.

SPY up .16 at 291.72, on 64.6 million shares, 5% below average volume. Up on higher volume.

VIX down .44 at 11.61 

Oil up 1.18 at 76.22

TLT down 2.03 at 114.83 on 20.8 million shares. 

CAT +2.20%, BA +1.53%, led the DJIA, 15 advancers, -8

SIVB +4.70%, HFC +4.07% and VLO +3.87%, led the SPX.
WYNN +2.69%, XLNX +2.41%, BIIB +2.13%, and FB +1.95%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is sideways.

Breadth strengthened on Wednesday, as decliners led 1,502 to 1,455 on the NYSE and advancers led 1,890 to 1,140 on the NASDAQ

The SPY MFC green line is in the upper zone pointed up at 82 is bullish.
