SQ, PLNT and CRM hit new highs on Tuesday.

The DJIA, closed down 69 points at 26,492, led by weakness in UNH, MMM, JNJ, TRV and PG.  This is the fifty-second consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15 and the ninth close above 26,000 since Feb 1.

Three of eleven sectors were higher, led by energy XLE +0.64% and discretionary XLY +0.42%.

SPY down .27 at 290.75, on 44.3 million shares, 26% below average volume. Down on lower volume.

VIX up .22 at 12.42 

Oil down .19 at 72.08

TLT down .12 at 116.68 on 6.6 million shares. 

MCD +1.90%, DIS +0.76%, led the DJIA, 11 advancers, +4

ABMD +5.22%, NOC +2.71% and CXO +2.64%, led the SPX.

NTES +2.63%, LBTYA +2.29%, AMZN +2.08%, and ADSK +1.68%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is down.

Up: IWM, QQQ,

Down: SPY, DIA

Breadth strengthened on Tuesday, as decliners led 1,617 to 1,271 on the NYSE and advancers led 1,462 to 1,454 on the NASDAQ

The SPY MFC green line is pointed up in the upper zone at 90 bullish.
