SPY, DIA, IWM and QQQ remained in bull flag price pattern Friday.  Continue to watch for a potential bounce on Monday.

COST, and AET hit new highs on Friday.  

One sector was higher on Friday, led by healthcare XLV +0.57% and discretionary XLY -0.01%.

The DJIA, closed down 79 points at 25,916 led by weakness in BA, AAPL, TRV and UTX.  This is the fortieth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15.

SPY down .56 at 287.60, on 73.5 million shares, 23% above average volume. Down on higher volume.

VIX up .23 at 14.88 

Oil down .03 at 67.86

TLT down 1.02 at 119.13 on 11.2 million shares. 

XOM +1.70%, PFE +1.01%, led the DJIA, 10 advancers, -7.

MCK +3.38%, CBS +2.98% and FOSL +2.42%, led the SPX.

AVGO +7.69%, ULTA +3.68%, EXPE +3.44%, and ATVI +2.24%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is down, bull flag pattern.

Breadth was slightly stronger on Friday, as decliners led 1,932 to 924 on the NYSE and led 1,549 to 1,324 on the NASDAQ

The SPY MFC green line closed below the upper zone pointed down at 78 defensive.
