SQ and V hit new highs on Friday.

The DJIA, closed up 18 points at 26,458, led by strength in BA, INTC and UNH.  This is the fifty-fifth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15 and the twelfth close above 26,000 since Feb 1.

Five of eleven sectors were higher, led by utilities XLU +1.46% and real estate XLRE +1.24%.

SPY up .03 at 290.72, on 70.0 million shares, 13% above average volume. Up on higher volume.

VIX down .29 at 12.12 

Oil up 1.37 at 73.56

TLT down .31 at 117.27 on 12.8 million shares. 

INTC +3.07%, BA +1.23%, led the DJIA, 18 advancers, +1

SCG +3.90%, CAG +3.00% and QRVO +2.90%, led the SPX.

NVDA +5.09%, JD +2.60%, INTU +2.06%, and STX +1.67%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is sideways.

Down: QQQ,

Breadth strengthened slightly on Friday, as advancers led 1,623 to 1,266 on the NYSE and led 1,546 to 1,396 on the NASDAQ

The SPY MFC green line is in the zone pointed down at 80 is still bullish, but is a yellow alert to be prepared to become defensive.
