DJIA/DIA and SPX/SPY Close at All-time Closing Highs on Rising Above Average Volume...

After the Close Review of Friday’s action…DIA, DJIA, SPX, SPY, /ES, IWM, TLT, QQQ, AAPL, AMZN, FB, GOOGL, MSFT, AMAT, CSX  sim trade profit review, Sector charts, Earnings stocks strong this week plus ADBE and HCA,  charts on next week’s earnings…MU, NTAP setups… Oct 21 9:23 pm PT

Earnings’ stocks SKX, GWW,  IBM,  LRCX, UNH, SYF, HOG, SNA, TRV, CMA, MS and PYPL along with ADBE, HCA were among the week’s leaders.

Eight sectors were higher on Friday, led by financial XLF +1.18% and industrials XLI +1.08%.

SPY up 1.32 at 257.11 on 89.2 million shares, 51% above average volume.  Up on higher volume.
VIX down .08 at 9.97
Oil up .48 to 52.07
TLT down 1.33 at 123.98…on 11.8 million shares, 55% above average.  Down on higher volume.


BA +2.20%, and UNH +2.09%, led the DJIA, 27 advancers.
UAA +6.26%, DOV +6.09% and M +4.85% led the SPX.
PYPL +5.53%, MXIM +3.99%, ISRG +3.39%, ILMN +2.29%, and ADBE +2.28%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Up: DIA, SPY, IWM, QQQ,
Down:

Breadth strengthened on Friday as advancers led 1,760 to 1,139 on the NYSE and led 1,739 to 1,095 on the NASDAQ.

The SPY MFC green line is in upper zone at 98 bullish.
