IWM, QQQ and SPY Move Higher as AAPL, FB, YELP, STX Rise...Jobs Report on Friday...


Eight of nine sectors moved higher on Thursday…XLE, XLK, and XLI were the strongest sectors…XUB was the weakest sector.

Technical Commentary:

QQQ + 1.26%, SPY + 0.93%, DIA + 0.83% and IWM + 1.59%.
Stocks on Thursday and bonds TLT pulled back after a new weekly jobless report indicated the lowest reading since 2008.   The Jobs Report is will be out Friday morning before the open.

QQQ, stayed above horizontal resistance.  SPY, DIA and IWM are setup just below resistance

The Euro fell 122 pips to short-term support and closed at 1.3061.   The Euro pulled back after the ECB announced it was dropping rates 1/2%.

AAPL moved up 6.23 on 15.1 million shares.  AAPL held above its break out of short-term resistance from early April which a possible reversal point of its down trend since last September.
 
FB rose 1.54 after a strong earnings report and broke out of horizontal resistance on volume of 104.1 million shares.  FB reported earnings after the close on Wednesday that beat on revenues.
