SPX Continues Up Trend Following Horizontal Breakout...PCLN Leads NDX...

All nine sectors moved higher on Tuesday. XLF +1.87%, XLE +1.63% and XLV +1.22% were the strongest sectors.

The Euro was up 59 pips to 1.3833 at 5 pm EDT on Tuesday. TNX closed was up +0.71 at 20.65. TLT was down -1.50. Financials XLF was up 25 cents.

The broad indexes moved higher with the RUT +1.36%, NDX +1.22 %, COMPQ +1.20%, SPX +1.17% and INDU +0.84%. The SPX moved up +14.80 to close at 1,275.92. The SPX continued its support bounce and made its highest close in a week.

Last week’s support bounce entries HON closed just above resistance, X held at resistance while MOS and HAL continued their support bounce towards resistance.

The VIX moved down -2.37 to 27.48.

AAPL, AMZN, BIDU, GOOG, PCLN and QCOM moved higher on Tuesday.

Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners 3.98 to 1 on the NYSE and 2.57 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

Four NDX stocks CELG, DELL and MRVL moved above their 30 DMA making 84 NDX stocks above the 30 DMA.
