Resistance Range Day...Buyers Still Active...AVGO, ULTA Rise on EPS...

In after-hours trading AVGO +4.83%, ULTA +3.52%, ORCL -3.15% and ADBE -2.51%, on EPS reaction.


The DJIA, closed up 7 points at 25,709led by strength in AAPL, V, UNH, JPM and NKE. 

Four eleven sectors were higher on Thursday, led by financials XLF +0.38% and real estate XLRE +0.25%.


SPY down .18 at 281.16 on 67.5 million shares, 10% below average volume. Down on lower volume.
VIX up .09 at 13.50
Oil up .19 at 58.53
TLT down .88 at 120.95 on 8.1 million shares. 

V +1.13%, AAPL +1.11%, led the DJIA, 20 advancers, -8
FTI +4.98%, GE +2.79% and NTRS +2.74%, led the SPX.
LRCX +3.59%, MYL +1.93%, CHKP +1.44%, and CHTR +1.32%, led the NDX.
