Stocks Pullback After China Tariff News...

SPY, QQQ, DIA and IWM pulled back after news of up $200 billion in additional tariffs on China and news of an ambulance at the White House. 

SQ, AAPL, AMZN, and ALGN hit new highs on Thursday. 

One sector was higher on Thursday, led by utilities XLU +0.04% and healthcare XLV -0.08%.

The DJIA, closed down 137 points at 25,986.  This is the thirtieth fifth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15.

SPY down 1.18 at 290.30, on 61.2 million shares, 3% above average volume. Down on similar volume.

VIX up 1.28 at 13.53  

Oil up .35 at 70.05

TLT up .26 at 121.28 on 5.6 million shares.  

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Breadth weakened on Thursday, as decliners led 1,006 to 1,836 on the NYSE and led 1,250 to 1,644 on the NASDAQ
