SPY Trades to New High on Strength in Financials...AAPL Closes Lower...

Eight of nine sectors moved higher on Thursday.  XLF, XLI and XLB were the strongest sectors.

Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners 1.49 to 1 on the NYSE and 2.00 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

The SPY moved up 81 cents on increased volume of 165 million shares.

AAPL -4.02, -0.68% hit  $600.01 before profit takers starting selling and the stock closed down for the first time in seven days on 41.4 million shares.

The SPX has a twelve week price target of 1,427 from its breakout on Jan 18.

Money Flow was again mixed on Thursday as the Euro moved lower.  TNX, TLT and VIX all rose slightly.  XLF and SPX had good gains to new highs.

Check out NFLX. MACD is rising while the last 3 lows in the short term channel are lower or similar. Breaking through the 50 dma. At diagonal resistance. Seems like a break above this diagonal resistance may indicate a resumption of the intermediate term up trend from the end of December.

How is m analysis?

Closed above 10 DMA and confirmed hammer with bullish engulfing. Mention in Thursday morning stock webcast that it is a C Pattern waiting for break above 30 DMA.

Concur on break of diagonal resistance. Good job!
