SPX Rallies from Chart Signals Price Target...

Inside Japan
We just spoke with our daughter-in-law in Japan and things are starting to get back to normal in Chiba, just east of Tokyo.  Food, gas and water are now available, although the gas lines are still long.  They did have another fairly strong earthquake in Chiba, but it did not do any major damage.

Since reaching the support break price targets, buying pressure has taken control of the market driving all the broad indexes higher on Thursday.  The SPX closed up +16.84 at 1,273.72.

Dave, thank you for the update on your family in Japan. My prayers continue for them and their neighbors throughout the island. Your trading room last night was one of the most rational and informative ones I have attended. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us via many avenues, including this blog.

Dave,
I'm very glad to hear that your family in Japan is well. The loss of life and suffering is heartbreaking.
