The DJIA slipped 25 points as the SPX, Nasdaq and RUT rose on Friday as a financial lifeline was extended to GM and Chrysler. Ford said they did not need cash at this time. Thursday's falling VIX while the SPX also fell appears to again given a clue to Friday's positive market movement.
DECK rose for its fourth straight day on Friday $2.72 or 3.71%. PCLN fell just 85 cents on Friday at a key resistance level of $85. Watch for potential breakout beginning on Monday.

Index Commentary
The DJIA formed an inverted hammer closing above its 30 DMA and below its 50 DMA.
The SPX and Nasdaq are both forming a pennant pattern since Tuesday and closed just below their 50 DMA and above their 20 and 30 DMA.
