SPX -6.00, 6,840, traded in a daily range with a slightly lower close just below short-term resistance on below average volume, just 1.20% below its all-time high on October 29.  Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners on both exchanges, advancing capital led declining capital in the NDX and SPX, while VIX moved slightly higher. 

NDX +0.16%, continued its channel bounce on Tuesday.  

DJI, 47,560, -0.38%, closed lower, led by JPM, AMGN and SHW.

NVDA -0.58, -0.31%, continues to trade below the 50% level of its 6-week channel.

AVGO +5.19, +1.29%, made a new all-time closing high.

Mega caps AVGO, TSLA, GOOGL, TSM, AMZN, MSFT rose and AAPL, NVDA, BRK/B, LLY, META fell on Tuesday. 

SPY down -0.59 at 683.04, 57.8 million shares, below average volume.

VIX up +.27 at 16.93,

QQQ up +.77 at 625.05

NEM, APP, APO, KKR led SPX, 215 advancers,
