The DJIA, closed up 249 points at 26,753, led by strength in BA, HD, UTX, MMM and V.  Closing above 26,000 above for the ninth straight day. 

All eleven sectors were higher on Thursday, led by energy XLE +2.22% and industrials XLI +1.67%. 

SPY up 2.80 at 295.86 on 116.5 million shares, 53% above average volume. Up on lower volume.

VIX up .42 at 14.75

Oil up 2.78 at 57.16

TLT up .35 at 132.89 on 10.7 million shares. 

UTX +2.58%, CAT +2.31%, led the DJIA, 26 advancers, +6

ORCL +8.18%, NBL +6.15% and HFC +5.36%, led the SPX.

ALXN +5.06%, ADBE +3.74%, REGN +3.10% and XLNX +2.61% led the NDX.

Long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.
