CSX, GWW, UAL, ERIC, MS and UAL had positive earnings reaction on Wednesday.  IBM reported after the close and rose in after-hours trading.  

Four sectors were higher on Wednesday, led by financial XLF +1.60% and industrials XLI +1.10%.

The DJIA, closed up 79 points at 25,199, led by strength in UNH, BA, CAT, AXP and V.  This is the fourth consecutive close above 25,000 since June 15.

SPY up .59 at 281.06, on 44.5 million shares, 36% below average volume. Up on lower volume and its highest close since Jan 29.

VIX up .04 at 12.10

Oil up .32 at 67.93

TLT down .49 at 121.49 on 6.3 million shares.

UNH +2.05%, AXP +1.81%, led the DJIA, 15 advancers, -4.

GWW +11.16%, UAL +8.79% and NCLH +5.40%, led the SPX.

CSX +7.08%, ASML +6.64%, KLAC +4.10%, and MELI +2.65%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Up:  DIA, IWM, SPY

Down: QQQ,

Breadth weakened slightly on Wednesday, as advancers led 1,583 to 1,316 on the NYSE and led 1,606 to 1,274 on the NASDAQ

The SPY MFC green line is in the upper zone at 97, bullish.
