Buyers in Control on Monday as Breadth Strengthens...BA, AAPL Lead DJIA...

The DJIA rose 410 points to 24,601 led by strength in BA, AAPL, UNH, MMM, GS, MCD and CAT

Ten sectors were higher on Monday, led by materials XLB +2.02%, and technology XLK +1.79%.


SPY up 3.84 at 265.34 on 143.7 million shares, 12% above average volume.  Up on lower volume.
VIX down 3.45 at 25.61
Oil up .33 to 59.38
TLT up .52.at 118.46 on 10.9 million shares, 14% below average volume.  Up on lower volume.

AAPL +4.80%, and DWDP +3.40%, led the DJIA, 28 advancers.
CSRA +31.05%, MRO +4.90%, and CTL +4.88%, led the SPX.
ALXN +6.29%, MELI +5.24%, CSX +4.46%, MU +4.40% and LRCX +4.27% led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is down.

Up: QQQ, DIA, SPY, IWM
Down:

Breadth strengthened on Monday, as advancers led 2,175 to 779 on the NYSE and led 1,925 to 997 on the NASDAQ.

The SPY MFC green line turned at 26, bullish
