DIA, SPY New Closing High as Financial Sector Leads...FOMC Announcement Wednesday...

Seven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by financial XLF +1.00% and real estate XLRE +0.45%.


SPY up .47 at 266.78 on 85.1 million shares, 18% above average volume.  Up on higher volume.
VIX up .58 at 9.92
Oil down .57 to 57.45
TLT down .05 at 126.38…on 7.5 million shares, average volume.  Down on higher volume.


GS +3.02%, and VZ +2.60%, led the DJIA, 16 advancers.
MAC +5.02%, FCX +4.59%, and MOS +4.11%, led the SPX.
STX +4.08%, TSLA +3.68%, CMCSA +2.78%, MELI +2.19%, and ATVI +1.95%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Up: DIA, SPY,
Down: QQQ, IWM,

Breadth weakened on Tuesday, as decliners led 1,567 to 1,336 on the NYSE and led 1,674 to 1,308 on the NASDAQ.

The SPY MFC green line is pointed up in the upper zone at 86, bullish.
