SPY Rises on Breakout Continuation as Euro Bounces...

Markets are closed Wednesday in celebration of July 4thHave a safe and super Independence Day.


Six of nine sectors moved higher on Tuesday.  XLE, XLB, and XLI were the strongest sectors.

Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners 4.00 to 1 on the NYSE and 2.68 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

SPY gained 90 cents on light half-day pre-holiday buying of 80.4 million shares closing above its 30 DMA for the sixth consecutive day.  The SPX moved up +8.51 at 1,374.02.

FB up 42 cents at 31.20 on volume of 8.8 million shares...
