AAPL Up, FB Down...Financials Lead as SPY Closes Near High...

Three of nine sectors moved higher on Monday and one remained unchanged… XLF, XLU and XLK were the strongest sectors.   XLE was the weakest sector. 

Breadth weakened but with decliners leading advancers…1.22 to 1 on the NYSE and 1.04 to 1 on the NASDAQ…

Technical Commentary:
The SPY fell 3 cents forming a doji following its twelve day sideways consolidation.  QQQ +0.03%, SPY -0.02%, IWM -0.11%, DIA -0.15% near recent high.

AAPL shares moved up 4.95 continuing its break above the recent resistance of its consolidation/basing pattern.    FB moved down 28 cents in a six-day sideways consolidation.

The Euro closed up 42 pips to close at 1.3404 still in a higher low bull flag pattern.

Disk storage stocks WDC +0.23% and STX -1.21% were mixed.

Coal stocks CNX, WLT, ACI and ANR where higher while JRCC and BTU were lower on Monday.
