IWM +0.45%, QQQ +0.42%, SPY +0.33%, and DIA +0.33% moved higher.  All four ETFs did NOT confirm the potential shooting star candles that formed on Thursday.  The QQQ gained notwithstanding AAPL’s move lower on the strength of 68 of its other stocks moving higher.

Trade what you see on the chart of your position. The trend is in consolidation and traders should lock in profits when targets are reached. As always look for re-entry according to your rules.

The SPY’s trend is neutral in a sideways consolidation currently appearing as a symmetrical triangleXLB continues negative; XLE, XLF, XLI, XLY and XLK are neutral with XLP, XLU and XLV positive.  XLE, XLF, XLK, XLP, XLV and XLB did not confirm Thursday’s potential shooting star patterns on Friday.  XLI did confirm its shooting with a lower close on Friday.

SSYS reports earnings on Monday.

The Market Forecast Green Line barely moved up on Friday and is below the upper reversal zone.
