Technical Commentary:
Stock futures rallied
from overnight lows to produce the first positive Monday in 2013 led by strong
stocks like GOOG, LNKD, PCLN, Z, YHOO and AMZN.
Sectors XLP, XLU, XLV and XLY helped lead stocks higher
making new highs.
SPY +0.53%, QQQ +0.45%, IWM +0.26%, and DIA +0.23% moved
higher. SPY nears resistance and a potential horizontal breakout or potential double top. The QQQ gained notwithstanding AAPL’s
move lower on the strength of 68 of its other stocks moving higher.
AAPL -10.42
made a another new low. FB slipped 6 cents and following its confirmed MACD bullish divergence.
The Euro moved up 1 pips and closed at 1.3026 on Monday and is at its multi-month 1.30 support
area.
