SPX +83.47, 6,875, closed above 6,800 for the first time.  Breadth remained positive on Monday as advancers led decliners on both exchanges.  Government shutdown continued for the twenty-seventh day.

Technology, Consumer Discretionary and Communication Services led sectors on Monday.  QCOM, TSLA, APP, GOOGL, LRCX, NVDA were some of the largest gainers.  The four-week SPY trend is up with a new closing high.  The three- and six-month trends are up.  Dave
