SPX +0.22, 6,735, closed above 6,700 for a second day and again makes its third highest close ever.  Breadth weakened from Monday as NYSE advancers remained positive.  Government shutdown continued for the twenty first day.  

Pause day after strong two-day rally and is 18-points from its all-time closing high.  The four-week SPY trend is sideways, and the three- and six-month trends are up.  Dave
