JPM, WFC, C and PNC reported earnings Friday morning with lower price action in JPM, WFC and C.

Earnings continue next week reports coming from NFLX, BAC, MSFT, GS, UNH, IBM and JNJ.

Six sectors were higher on Friday, led by staples XLP +0.65% and energy XLE +0.53%.

The DJIA, closed up 94 points at 25,019, led by strength in BA, UNH, UTX, DIS, and DIS.  This the first close above 25,000 since June 15.

SPY up .22 at 279.59, on 48.2 million shares, 31% below average volume. Up on lower volume

VIX down .40 at 12.18

Oil up .23 at 70.58

TLT up .31 at 122.72 on 4.0 million shares.

WBA +2.02%, UTX +1.70%, led the DJIA, 20 advancers, -5.

AAL +2.17%, TPR +1.97% and LKQ +1.95%, led the SPX.

MELI +3.03%, PCAR +2.79%, ULTA +2.77%, and SBUX +2.73%, led the NDX.

Intermediate and long term up trend intact.  3-day short term trend is up.

Breadth weakened on Friday, as decliners led 1,459 to 1,421 on the NYSE and led 1,569 to 1,286 on the NASDAQ
