Stocks Close Higher on Expiration Friday Led by Energy...FEYE on Fire on Cyber Security Concerns...FB Breaks Out...

Eight of nine sectors moved higher on Friday…XLE, XLB and XLI were the strongest sectors and XLP was the weakest.
 
Breadth weakened as advancers led decliners1.79 to 1 on the NYSE and 1.15 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

Stocks moved higher on quadruple expiration Friday led by the Energy Sector XLE as oil gain 65 cents on to close at 57.77.  Institutions are taking the contrarian trade on oil once again as XLE rose +8.32, +11.67% since Tuesday’s open at 72.24.

FEYE, +2.16. 6.99%, cyber security technology, caught fire this week gaining +5.32, +19.18% since Wednesday’s open as investor attention over cyber hacking increased this week.

FB +1.48, +1.89% broke through short-term horizontal resistance and reached its highest close since releasing earnings on Oct. 28.  New breakout Chart target: 83.17.

Look for horizontal breakout setups in stocks that are up trending or creating are reversal breakout.

On Monday morning before the open AAL, EA and LRCX are being added to the NDX and EXPE, FFIV and MXIM are being removedmake adjustment to your NDX watch list.
