Stocks Gain For Third Straight Day...S&P 500 Nearing All-Time High...TSLA Hot...Hot...Hot...Sets New High Up 5.38%...RAX Down In After Hours Trading 11.45%...

Six of nine sectors moved higher on Monday…XLV, XLU and XLB were the strongest sectors…while XLI was the weakest sector.  

Breadth weakened as advancers led decliners 1.45 to 1 on the NYSE and 1.45 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

QQQ + 0.57%, IWM + 0.26%, SPY + 0.18%, DIA – 0.02%.

Monday’s trading saw gains…for a 3rd straight day…with the DJIA gaining 7.71, and the NASDAQ gaining 22.31…with the help of AAPL which was up 9.31.  The S&P 500 gained 2.82 to close at 1,799.84 and is closing in on its 52 week high of 1,851.  Of note…was the lighter trading volume…in all markets.

TSLA sizzled today…gapping up…and breaking all previous highs…setting a new all-time high today with a gain of 10.03 up 5.38% to close at 196.56 on volume of 12.9 million shares.

RAX is off in-after hours trading on news that the cloud-technology company’s Chief Executive Napier would retire…RAX trading down 4.65 or 11.53%.
