Stocks End Today's Session With Strong Gains...TSLA Leads The Market With Another All-Time Record High Up 8.43%...FB Reverses Course And Finishes With Another 'In Your Face' Record High...GRPN Off In After Hours Trading After Earnings Report...Down 11.08%...

All nine sectors moved higher on Thursday…XLB, XLI and XLV were the strongest sectors…while XLF was the weakest sector.  

Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners 1.92 to 1 on the NYSE and 2.47 to 1 on the NASDAQ.

What started out somewhat weak in the opening trading session today…ended with strong gains…DJIA Up 92.41NASDAQ Up 29.59S&P 500 Up 11.03…Even FB which started out down…after selling pressure from investors from the released news that it was to acquire WhatsApp…at $16B in cash and stock plus and additional $3B in restricted stock over the next four years…bounced and finished at another all-time ‘In Your Face’…high...Up 1.57 or 2.31% on double the average volume at 130.9 million shares.

Let’s talk TSLA…TSLA lead the market today to another all-time record high after positive earnings reported yesterday…with 18 million in volume TSLA bounces again closing up 16.33…up for the day 8.43%.

GRPN reported earnings today after the close…with a fiscal fourth quarter loss of 81.2 million or 12 cents a share…GRPN is off 1.14…down 11.08% on high volume in after-hours trading…with the first quarter outlook looking to disappoint.
