broad indices traded in a tight range Friday on lighter volume and closed mixed
as they continue their earnings season consolidation pausing at resistance and
pulling back slightly.
QQQ, SPY and IWM
have risen to resistance, paused and pulled back slightly on Friday.
The Euro was up 23 pips and closed at 1.3031. The Euro stayed above support for the
thirteenth straight day.
AAPL moved up 8.82 on 27.3 million shares. AAPL continues to form a bear flag
pattern with its short term rally following earnings on Tuesday.
FB jumped 71 cents and closed above its 30 DMA on volume of 33
million shares, following an upgrade to Strong Buy with a price target
of $37 from Raymond James.
