SPX, NDX Closed Higher on Positive EU Trade and Tariff Developments...Consumer Discretionary, Technology, Industrial Lead all Sectors Higher...Mega Caps Stocks Rise...

SPX +118.72, 5,921, futures rose Sunday and Monday night as the EU tariff deadline was extended to July 9 and the EU indicated they wanted to get a trade deal fast tracked and completed.  The SPX continued to trend up after the open on Tuesday. 

The DJI, 42,343 +1.78%, closed higher.  The NDX +2.39% was a bull flag bounce.

Breadth strengthened as advancers led on the exchanges and in the indexes.  Net change advancing capital was significantly higher than net change declining capital. 

Tuesday Session Insight: For the past six weeks AAPL +1.04% went up less than the market SPY +10.71%.  AAPL was significantly weaker than the market and the market still went up.  PLTR, TSLA, AVGO are among market leaders and AAPL is among market laggards.      

TSLA +23.55, +6.94%, large white candle in a bull flag bounce.

Mega caps TSLA, NVDA, AVGO, TSM, GOOGL, AAPL, AMZN, META, MSFT, BRK/B rose on Tuesday. 

SPY up 12.04 at 591.15, 72.5 million shares, above average volume

VIX down 1.61 at 18.96,

QQQ up 11.98 at 521.22

NKE, NVDA, AXP, GS led the DJIA, 28 advancers, +18

HOLX, DECK, TSLA, RCL led the SPX, 468 advancers,

APP, TSLA, WBD, ARM led the NDX, 95 advancers,

The SPY MFC green line is pointed down at 89.9 and is counter-trend defensive. -0.9

All eleven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by XLY, XLK and XLI.
