SPX +24.37, 5,631, opened higher, traded in a range, experienced a 2.33-point VIX range before and after the FOMC announcement of no rate change as expected.  The SPX formed a white spinning top.  The DJI, 40,829 +0.70%, and NDX +0.39% closed higher.

Breadth strengthened as advancers led the exchanges and the indexes. Net change capital was mixed as advancing capital led the SPX and declining capital led in the NDX.

TSLA +0.87, +0.32%, closed higher.

After-hours: AXON +32.18, +5.35%, moved higher and FTNT -13.03, -12.21%, ARM -14.24, -11.47%, moved lower on earnings reactions.

Wednesday session insight: Cognitive dissonance is the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.  Paul Tudor Jones expects stocks to fall to new lows.  Bill Miller said “I think the worst is over for the market. I’m pretty confident about that.”  Miller is best known for beating the SPX 15 straight years. Confused?  Don’t be, neither of these legendary investors know the future. Trade what you see...DJ
