SPX +24.35, 5,916, opened lower, trended up and formed a white candle.    

Today's PPI report was M/M -0.5% better than 0.2% consensus and Y/Y 2.4% inline with. 2.4% consensus.  Core PPI was M/M -0.4% better than 0.3% consensus and Y/Y 3.1% above 3.0% consensus.

The DJI, 42,322 +0.65%, rose.  The NDX +.08% continued to rise towards its all-time closing high. 

Breadth strengthened as advancers led decliners on the exchanges and indexes, while declining net change capital was greater than advancing capital due to heavy selling in UNH on the SPX and in TSLA and META in the NDX.

TSLA -4.61, -1.40%, paused and closed lower.

Mega caps BRK/B, AVGO, MSFT rose and TSM, NVDA, AAPL, GOOGL, TSLA, META, AMZN fell on Thursday.
