Rally Continues Day 3...Energy, Materials, Discretionary Lead All Sectors Higher as Oil Resumes its Trend...

Futures moved lower overnight.  QQQ, IWM, SPY, DIA, opened lower, rose throughout the day and closed higher in the third day of a broad rally.
 
Some progress is being reported in talks between UKR / RUS lifting hopes of a path towards a ceasefire.   
 
 
SPY up 5.45 at 441.07, on 102.6 million shares, below average volume, up on lower volume.
VIX down 1.00 at 25.67
QQQ up 4.12 at 344.44
 
DOW, AXP, CAT, CRM led the DJIA, 28 advancers, +6
DVN, OXY, APA, MRO led the SPX, 420 advancers.
CRWD, MELI, DOCU, LCID led the NDX, 85 advancers.
 
The two-year trend term is up.  The one-year trend is up.

All eleven sectors were higher on Thursday, led by XLE, XLB and XLY.

Advancers weakened slightly on Thursday as advancers led 2,633 to 719 on the NYSE and led 3,551 to 1,180 on the NASDAQ.
 
The SPY MFC green line is pointed up at 36.5 and is short-term bullish.  SPY closed higher for a third day and above its 30 DMA.
