NDX -141.87, -1.33% and SPX -20.97, -0.65%.  NDX is a channel bounce pause.  SPX opened lower and closed lower after a late selloff during the last hour of trading.  SPX paused and stayed above Monday’s low creating a second chance opportunity for a bull flag bounce. 

AMD +6.99, +10.34% jumped in after-hours on a positive EPS reaction.   

SBUX, EBAY, AKAM and V also reported after the close.

BA, GM and 17 other SP500 stocks report before the open on Wednesday.

Three of eleven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by XLRE, XLU and XLP.

Consumer Staples leaders:  KMB, WBA, COTY, CPB

SPY down 2.05 at 321.17 on 57.4 million shares, below average volume, down on higher volume.

PFE, WBA, PG led the DJIA, 9 advancers, -8

NCLH, CCL, WELL, VNO led the SPX, 163 advancers

MRNA, XEL, KHC, SPLK led the NDX, 19 advancers

The two-year trend term is up.  The one-year trend is up.

Breadth strengthened on Tuesday as decliners led 1,602 to 1,348 on the NYSE and led 2,255 to 1,084 on the NASDAQ
