Stocks Bounce as DJI, RUT Lead...Bull Flag Setups...

NDX +87.31, +0.82% and SPX +42.30, +1.30%.  NDX formed a bull flag following a one-day pullback.  SPX opened lower and closed higher.  SPX was a re-breakout on Tuesday. 

/ES rose 25 plus points in evening trading after MRNA +12.03, +16.07% in after-hours, said its covid-19 vaccine candidate produced “robust” immune system response in all 45 people in its clinical trial.

JPM, C, WFC, DAL, FAST and FRC reported EPS before the open Tuesday morning to start earnings season.

All eleven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by XLE, XLB and XLI

Materials leaders:  AA, WRK, NEM, FCX

Industrials leaders:  TT, CAT, PH, PNR

SPY up 4.08 at 318.92 on 93.6 million shares, below average volume, up on lower volume.

NBL, AA, HBI XYL led the SPX, 433 advancers

ALGN, REGN, DOCU, FISV led the NDX, 84 advancers

Breadth strengthened on Tuesday as advancers led 1,949 to 1,041 on the NYSE and led 2,112 to 1,268 on the NASDAQ
