Welcome back Dave - looking forward to tonights capstone - missed you!
Dave, this quote from a major financial news website made me smile and think of you.
"While investment strategists generally expect US equities to close out 2010 in negative territory with a likely rebound early next year, most also say the market between now and December 31 remains too unpredictable to forecast with any confidence."
Whoohoo! Welcome back Dave! We miss you! Looking forward to ATA captone tonight! :-)

Anon,
This quote is like ones I have read and talked about for 33 years. It communicates the literal absurdity that next year and the end of year negative territory are clearly knowable, but that everything else between now and Dec. 31 is not knowable.
How is it even logical that the distant future is knowable but the closer future is not?
Why individuals who write this type of nonsensical balderdash are able to stay employed is unbelievable.
Thanks for sharing.
Dave
How can I see the webcasts?
