SPX +21.84, 7,712 opened lower, closed higher, formed a bullish engulfing candle.  Breadth strengthened as advancers led on both the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges.  The SPX formed a bull flag bounce.

Earnings season continues with earnings from IBM, LRCX, META, TSLA, TXN and URI on Wednesday among 75 SPX companies this week.

Mega caps SPCX, TSLA, AMD, MU, NVDA, AVGO, TSM, AMZN rose, and LLY, BRK/B, GOOGL, META, MSFT, AAPL fell on Tuesday. 

SPCX closed at 147.79, -0.17, volume of 116.6 million shares. SPCX reached an important milestone by becoming profitable today.  It reported EPS $0.35 beat $0.12 estimate, sales $14.575B beat $12.738B estimate.  That is a $58 billion annual run rate.  Our view is that SPCX, proved its ability to produce profits from its business plan.  IPO at 135 on June 12.  Investors seem to be willing to speculate on this company’s long-term fundamental future and it took a major step forward today.  Rumors continue to circulate that SpaceX may acquire TSLA. 

The SPY MFC green line is down at 57.6, price-action bounced on Tuesday forming a bullish engulfing pattern, closed above the following day and is counter-term defensive. -5.6.
