BMO - ES -1.00 and NQ futures -3.50 are mixed about an hour before the open pointing to a flat open...many strong up days have been followed by a pause day much of this year and pre-market trading seems to suggest that this may occur today...we will watch Tuesday's S1 level as short term support and also the 1,148 old resistance to see if it is now new support...
TLT is up 53 cents and the EURO is up 25 pips in pre-market trading
AAPL and BIDU are higher on volume in pre-market trading.

Dave, your teaching is helping me be more profitable and also has removed a lot of market fear that has negatively affected my trading. I always look to be the master chess player and plan my moves, take in all of the data from the charts and assimilate probabilities of future market action based on price, sup/res and momentum, and NEVER listen to the talking heads on TV. I religiously read you blog daily and listen to every DJ capstone. It is integral to my daily and weekly routines. Thanks Dave!! You are the consummate professional with a passion for trading and teaching. That means a lot to us traders out here!!

Dave, I can't go a day without reading your blog. It is the first thing I do every morning. Don't miss the Friday Market Wrap either. I have been a follower of yours for many years and consider you my mentor. The importance of support, resistance, momentum, risk management, entry and exit points I all learned from you. Following your rules is key. I NEVER waiver. Used to and saw the results. I appreciate your guidance with which stocks are showing bull flag and support bounce setups, because those are my entry points. This really cuts down on my searching time. I am an options trader, 70% spreads, 30% directional. I always have a trade of some kind on IWM and SPY. Currently HANS,NEM,VMW,CLF,MICC. Sound familiar?

As you know I've been with you within a few months of you starting Active Investor. Still listen weekly to all of your classes either live or recorded (your Wed morning capstone at 3:30am my time is a little tough live). The way I figure it is for my 5 years of time, I've probably been able to get my experience level up to 15 years with your mentoring. Now if I can get the remainder of your 33 years into my brain and experiences, we'd be twins ;')
