SPX -27.79, 7,472, opened flat, traded in a range and closed lower.  Breadth weakened as advancers fell from Thursday, and decliners led on both the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges.  VIX rose. 

SpaceX, SPCX, closed at 154.60, -16.43%.  Market cap fell to approximately $2 trillion, which places it seventh in market cap behind AMZN and TSM.  At 2025 revenues of $18.7 billion, it is the only company, in that group, with less than $131 billion of annual revenues.  Our view is that SPCX with no earnings continues to be a total speculation.  Wall St. consensus list positive earnings in 2028.

Eight of eleven sectors were higher on Monday led by XLE, XLRE and XLV.
