SPX +13.91, 7,412, closed at a new all-time high, as semiconductor stocks continued to rally rallied after a lower open. Breadth weakened as decliners led on both the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges. 

The CPI report for April is due before the open Tuesday at 8:30 am EDT, the consensus is 3.8% compared with 3.3% for March.  Core CPI is 2.7% consensus compared with 2.6% in March.

SPX decliners: DG ZTS TTD ISRG TGT SMCI CRL DELL IDXX WDAY ROST.

Earnings season begins to wind down this week with only 10 SPX companies reporting.  Next week retail stocks HD, TGT, TJX, WMT and ROST report.

NVDA +4.24, +1.97%, a new all-time closing high on 160.3 million shares, a breakout from its April 27 closing high.

MU +48.52, +6.50%, all-time closing high.

SPY +0.23%, reached an all-time closing high on below average volume of 44 million shares.

VIX +1.19, 18.38, 

NDX +0.29% new all-time closing high.

DJI, 49,704, +0.19% formed a two-day bull flag near horizontal resistance.

Mega caps TSLA, NVDA, BRK/B rose and AAPL, AVGO, MSFT, AMZN, TSM, META, WMT, GOOGL fell on Monday.

The SPY MFC green line is up at 98.4, price-action is short-term bullish. +1.2
