SPX Lower After Weakness in BA, AAPL and Fed-speak...Technology Sector Up as KeyBanc Raises PT on AMD, NVDA, MU...

The SPX -17.85 opened lower, reversed higher, traded in a range before closing lower for the day.  BA was lower after additional delays in 737 MAX deliveries to China and a downgrade from WFC.  AAPL was lower after dropping iPhone prices in China.

Markets moved lower after Fed-speak from Waller this morning.  More Fed speakers Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

While the broad market SPX was lower, raised price targets on AMD to $195, NVDA to $740, MU to $115 from KeyBanc BMO sent these stocks higher. ORLY, MDB, CDNS, SNPS and PANW were stronger than the SPX.

Earnings Season started Friday with JPM, BAC, C, WFC, BK, BLK, DAL, UNH reporting and GS, MS, PNC today.  23 SPX stocks report this week from Tuesday to Friday.

Mega caps NVDA, TSLA, MSFT rose and GOOGL, AMZN, AAPL, META fell on Tuesday.

SPY down 1.75 at 474.93 on 85.0 million shares, average volume, closed lower on higher volume. 

VIX up .59 at 13.84

QQQ down .04 at 409.52

DIS, VZ, HD, GS led the DJIA, 10 advancers, -5

AMD, WDC, AZO, DPZ, SNPS led the SPX, 136 advancers 

AMD, ORLY, MDB, CDNS led the NDX, 41 advancers.

The two-year trend term is sideways.  The one-year trend is up.
