Stocks opened higher, traded in an uptrend and the SPX +57.54 closed above Wednesday’s high, near its June 28 short-term resistance. /CL, TNX closed higher, DXY, GLD were flat, while TNX moved lower.
The two-year trend term is up. The one-year trend down.

Advancers strengthened on Thursday as advancers led 2,497 to 750 on the NYSE and led 3,465 to 1,151 on the NASDAQ.
The SPY MFC green line is pointed up at 36.8 and is short-term bullish. SPY bounced higher, formed a white candle and closed above Wednesday’s high moving closer to short-term resistance.
