QQQ, SPY, DIA Close Lower...CPI Report Wednesday BMO...Earnings Season Starts Wednesday Morning...

QQQ, SPY, DIA opened lower and closed lower, ahead of the CPI Report for March which will be released Tuesday morning at 8:30 am ET.  Earnings season starts Wednesday morning with JPM, DAL, FAST, BLK and FRC reporting.

Oil futures, (/CL -2.72) closed lower. 
 
Talks between UKR / RUS continue to have no clear path towards a ceasefire.  
 
 
SPY down 7.65 at 439.92, on 87.7 million shares, below average volume, down on higher volume.
VIX up 3.21 at 24.37
QQQ down 8.26 at 340.89.
 
VZ, DOW, TRV, MMM led the DJIA, 4 advancers, -14
T, DAL, BBWI, LUV led the SPX, 115 advancers.
ROST, NTES, DLTR, OKTA led the NDX, 19 advancers.
 
The two-year trend term is up.  The one-year trend is up.

All eleven sectors were lower on Monday, led by the smallest declines in XLI, XLP and XLF.

Advancers weakened on Monday as decliners led 2,306 to 1,011 on the NYSE and led 3,205 to 1,513 on the NASDAQ.
 
The SPY MFC green line is pointed down at 68.8 and is defensive.  SPY is in a 9-day pullback in a sideways channel.
