NDX, SPX Close Week Another New High...

NDX +69.69, +0.58%, rallied on strength in MSFT, GOOGL, NVDA, ADBE, PYPL and AMZN.  AAPL and TSLA paused on Friday before stock splits on Monday.

SPX +23.46, +0.67%, closes at 3,508 on a breakout continuation to a new all-time closing high.

CRM, AMGN and HON will replace XOM, PFE and RTX in the DJIA before the open next Monday August 31.

All eleven sectors were higher on Friday, led by XLE, XLB and XLI.

Basic Materials leaders: FCX, NEM, MOS, AA

Industrials leaders:  ALK, DAL, SWK, UAL

SPY up +2.25 at 350.58 on 48.5 million shares, below average volume, up on lower volume.

KO, WMT, XOM led the DJIA, 21 advancers, +1

GCI, FOSL, CCL, NCLH led the SPX, 377 advancers

WDAY, WDC, ULTA, TCOM led the NDX, 77 advancers

Breadth strengthened on Friday as advancers led 2,078 to 918 on the NYSE and led 2,254 to 1,123 on the NASDAQ
