SPX, DJI, NDX New Closing Highs Again...Happy Thanksgiving...Gratitude for All Blessings...

SPY, QQQ and DIA closed at new all-time closing highs for the third straight day headed into the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.  We all have much for which we can be grateful.  

Remember markets close early on Friday, with just a half day of trading.

SPY, QQQ and DIA closed at new all-time closing highs for the second straight day.

DJIA closed up 55 at 28,121 led by strength in HD, MCD, DIS, PG and TRV.  Closing above 28,000 for the second straight day.

Eight of eleven sectors were higher on Tuesday, led by XLRE, XLP and XLY.

DJIA closed up 190 at 28,066 led by strength in UNH, AAPL, MMM, CAT and GS.  Closing above 28,000 again.

DIA Bull Flag Bounce...SPY, QQQ Bull Flag Setup...JWN +10% on EPS Beat...

DIA was a bull flag bounce and entry signal on Friday.  SPY formed a dragonfly doji and QQQ formed a hammer and both still a bull flag setup for Monday.


DJIA closed up 109 at 27,875 led by strength in BA, MMM, GS, JNJ and DIS.  Closing below 28,000 for the fourth straight day.

SPY, DIA, QQQ Inside Day, Hammer in Bull Flag Pattern, JWN up After-hours...

After the close JWN +2.88, +8.39% gained on a positive EPS reaction.


SPY, DIA, QQQ were range bound today as uncertainty of the timing of phase 1 of the trade deal continued.  An inside hammer was formed on each chart and each is still a bull flag setup for Friday.

DJIA closed down 54 points at 27,766 led by weakness in BA, HD, PG, MCD and V.  Closing below 28,000 for the third straight day.

Three of eleven sectors were higher on Thursday, led by XLE, XLC and XLVEnergy led as oil rose on today’s modest broad market pullback.
