Futures Point to a Higher Open...

BMO – ES +4.50 and NQ +3.50 futures are higher in pre-market trading pointing to a higher open. In pre-market trading AAPL is +1.36, AMZN +0.44, GOOG +0.13, BIDU +0.81, INTC is up 12 cents, BAC is up 7 cents and GS +0.17.


Stocks are are slightly higher on light volume this morning in pre-market trading. JOYG is up
8.31% after reporting earnings. It is trading above its 30 DMA.

The SPX closed just below 1,103 resistance. A close above 1,103 and 1,107 would be a higher high and make our half signal a new up trend. Look to leading stocks like AAPL, AKAM, BIDU, NFLX , SNDK, VMW and CMG for a close above resistance as confirmation that this move is really breaking to higher highs.

Some stocks closed above their 30 DMA on Wednesday CRM, DE, HAS, HLF, ICE, LVS, OSTK, SWN, UAUA, UNG, WFMI.

Many others closed above their 10 DMA as did SPY, DIA, QQQQ and IWM.
