The SPX rose to a new closing high of 1,012.73. For nine straight days the SPX has been bouncing between 992 and 1,012 with one intra-day thrust to 1,018. This week’s trading range has been a modest 20 points. AAPL a bell weather leading stock broke through its horizontal flag and also moved to a new high close.
