SPX, DJI, NDX, RUT Gap Lower Open, Close Higher...HD, TRV Leads DJI...Discretionary, Communication Services Lead Sectors...

SPX, DJI, NDX and RUT gapped lower on the open, reversed just after mid-day and closed higher on Monday in a key day reversal.  SPX, NDX, DJI and RUT formed a long tail hammer.  Monday has the characteristics of a capitulation bottom. 

FOMC meeting Tuesday and Wednesday, announcement 2 pm ET Wednesday.
 
IBM +3.17, +2.46% gapped up on a positive earnings reaction after the close.

SPX, DJI, NDX and RUT opened lower and closed lower on Friday after a morning rally where each of the indexes had turned positive.  SPX, NDX and RUT closed below their 3-month low.  NFLX -110.75, -21.79% gapped down on a negative earnings reaction and led both the NDX and SPX lower.

SPX, DJI, NDX and RUT opened higher and closed lower on Thursday after an afternoon sell-off following an announcement that a Senate panel had approved antitrust legislation against big tech platforms favoring their own products over competitors.  Such legislation is directed toward AAPL, GOOGL and AMZN.
 
SPX closed at 4,482 -50.03.
