QQQ New all-time Closing High, SPY Pauses as DIA, IWM Move Lower...

The SPX traded in a range and formed a spinning top candle, finished near unchanged while the NDX bounced and broke out of resistance to a new all-time closing high.
 
The NDX rallied with a six-week re-breakout.
 
Semiconductor stocks, SMH bounced with a short-term re-breakout. 
 
DJI -265.66, -0.62%, closed at 33,823.  GS, CAT, JPM and TRV were the largest point decliners on Thursday.
NDX +180.80, +1.29%, closed at 14,163.
SPX -1.84, -0.03%, closed at 4,221.
 
TSLA +1.94%, channel bounce continuation.

FOMC Rates Unchanged, SPX Closes Lower for Second Day...Futures Lower in Evening Trade...

The SPX pulled back in the morning and become more volatile to the downside after the FOMC announced rates were unchanged and during its press conference. 
 
The NDX pulled back for a second day and is a re-breakout setup.
 
Semiconductor stocks, SMH pulled back for a second day on a short-term breakout test. 
 
DJI -265.66, -0.77%, closed at 34,033.  BA, MMM, HD and HON were the largest point decliners on Wednesday.
NDX -47.39, -0.34%, closed at 13,983.
SPX -22.89, -0.54%, closed at 4,223.
 
TSLA +0.92%, channel support bounce.

SPX, NDX Pause as FOMC Begins 2-day Meeting...Announcement Wednesday at 2 pm ET...

The SPX traded in a range on Tuesday, on the first day of the periodic FOMC meeting.  The FOMC announcement will be Wednesday at 2 pm ET.  No rate change is expected. The SPX paused after a new all-time closing high on Monday. 
 
The NDX did a breakout test today after Monday’s breakout and is a re-breakout setup.
 
Semiconductor stocks, SMH gave back early gains and made a short-term breakout test. 
 
DJI -94.42, -0.27%, closed at 34,299.  CRM, HD, JPM and DIS were the largest point decliners on Tuesday.
NDX -97.79, -0.69%, closed at 14,030.
SPX -8.56, -0.20%, closed at 4,246.

QQQ Breaks Out to an All-time Closing High, SPY Makes Another All-time High...AAPL, FB, AMZN, MSFT, GOOGL Lead Techs Higher...

SPX opened flat on Monday, pulled back to re-test its breakout of the May 7 high and rallied in the last 45 minutes of trading to close at a new all-time high.  NDX broke through 2-month resistance to close at a new all-time closing high.
 
Semiconductor stocks, SMH broke out of short-term resistance of the previous ten-day trading range. 
 
DJI -85.85, +0.25%, closed at 34,393.  GS, JPM, BA and HON were the largest point decliners on Monday.
NDX +129.90, +0.93%, closed at 14,128.
SPX +7.71, +0.18%, closed at 4,255.
 
TSLA +1.28%, channel bounce.
